installing vlc Dependency Resolution Failed,Resolvable id 119854 does not exist.

I am trying to install videolan client.
First I had to install libxvidcore. Then it gave me this error:

Dependency Resolution Failed
Resolvable id 119854 does not exist.

Thumbs down dependencies............

Yeah i'm trying to install VLC too but it gives me a long list of dependencies.... and it sucks too because when I go to install one of the dependencies.....the dang dependency will have dependencies..... >

So I just kinda gave up there. Im still trying to search the web for an easier way to install it.

i agree with you.
vlc has too much dependencies to be installed on linux.
they have a lot of work to improve that.
