Installing updates in SeaMonkey

Does anyone know how to install SeaMonkey (security) updates in Puppy?

I have downloaded the files but can't find instructions to install. Can I so this from the terminal in the future (ie. just to get general updates for an installed application)?

Am also looking for a good link on installing:

(a)updates
(b)upgrades
(c)new applications

in linux as this isn't always obvious in the documentation.

Thanks
