ftp://url/dirs is not a server.

Consider this URL: ftp://sunsite.utk.edu/pub/linux/suse/i386/9.1/

The server is sunsite.utk.edu
The path (or directory) is /pub/linux/suse/i386/9.1/

Sorry to correct you: the server path should not start with slash!

Code:
pub/linux/suse/i386/9.1/
NoS Sr50:

The IP of the FTP server is 160.36.178.159 (in case you need to run a manual installation, which does not resolve IP's)

I just said ftp://url/dirs as a short way of telling my friend the three different combos I used.
