well i just got hold of a the red hat linux 7.2 cd's from my friend but on installing after taking in the configuration of the keyboard and mouse....the following error message pops up and the installation halts abruptly
please check the /etc/initd file and set the boot level to 3. It will atleat allow the system in the text mode from where you can configure your xwindows using xconfig command and set the hardware configurations properly .
