Installing onto and existing madam RAID5 array

I had mint installed a few years ago when I built a new server and put the OS on its own SSD, because its an SSD what could fail? Well, it did, so goodbye to my install.

So while reading and trying to get my Raid 5 and RAID 1 arrays working again a simple question question dawned on me...

Can I install Mint onto the array without disturbing the data and actually boot off an mdadm array?

If its possible I might need some help to get that done.
