i have almost finished installing kali linux to my windows 10, but toward the end on the remote desktop connection it give's me an error message of, failed to execute child process "dbus-lanch"(no such file directory) not sure where to go from here?

Are you using WSL? This usually happens when you install GUIs on WSL.
the best way to describe WSl is that its not the real deal. I've got kali Linux liveOS on a usb , that suffices to play with it. Or you see if you have room for dual boot and actually install kali.
Most people agree that kali and those new to Linux is an incompatible combination
