i am a new user of linux
i was trying to install jdk in fedora 14
i was installing it with the help of yum
i was writing command yum install java-1.6.0-openjdk
in the terminal window
n then i got a number of statements at last i got the message no more mirrors to try
i am unable to understand this
so please help me
First question is why are you using Fedora 14? It's very old and updates are no longer available for it. First thing I would do is install 19 or 20.
"No more mirrors" probably just means that it can't find any repositories with Fedora 14 packages. Try again with Fedora 19/20 and you'll probably have a lot more luck.
