do not try trust me i have been building and using gyachi for years the pango notebook problem and the blowfish crypto. you should build it and install it. If you have not learned how to compile and install please take your time and read the install text file. in gyachi. then let me know . the old gyachi 1.5 is being used by debian. you need the 1.10 inorder to use chat rooms because of crypt email me at
er2914a@yahoo.com and I will help you out. the new gyachi is a reall problem and the program is badley written just like all the old ones but it is not the programers fault it is yahoo not working with the open source. if you do get the debian one from apt-get -i gyachi then make sure you open a terminal and type gyachi and look for the errors. if you have none then cool I like mine I use my cam and everything. I find gyachi loves the gnome enviroment but I use KDE.
