Talking Installing GTK+ on suse


Hi , i want to know what command to see on which path does gtk+ installed and what version it is? Also i want to know is the manual on this site http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2...-building.html is competable with suse 9.1? also am i need to install latest pkg if i want to install gtk+ 2.6 ..? THank you! Long live linux!

I can answer the first part of your question. Open a terminal and type:

rpm -qi gtk

On my machine, gtk is mostly in /opt/gnome.
