trying to install this.
download to desktop. doulble click it and it installs about 7 files.
go to terminal and I cannot find the files.
I do a cd home
then a cd larry
then try to get to the folder that they sould be in but get msgs that no file or directory.

I have tried to copy the file from the desktop into my home/larry directory and then thru the terminal I do the tar -xzvf file and it unpacks it.
try to do a cd to the file where the installer is but get no file or directory.

I am running FC4 and have done other pkg installs but this one is driving me nuts. the instructions they give you seem simple enough but I can't figure out where things are when you unpack it from the desktop. Where did it end up? I tried Find and came up with nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

never mind. I found the problem. then after all the headache it won't install because I am using x64!

I am printing it out now.
I have never used yum but will try from the instructions to learn this new way of doing updates.
