Installing dhcpd on a Linux machine without internet access
Is it possible to install dhcpd on a Linux machine without connecting it to the internet? I have a machine at work that I am using to learn how to operate certain services like NFS, kickstart, etc... One of which is DHCP but for now the machine is not permitted be connected to our domain. Is there a way to download the file(s) to a machine on our domain and then copy the file(s) to the machine I need to use DHCP on? I had a similar problem downloading kickstart configurator, and couldn't install the package. I ultimately learned how to make a kickstart configuration by hand, which was great. This time, I have already created the /etc/dhcpd.conf, /etc/dhcpd.leases, /etc/hosts, /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts deny files, but have no DHCP service. Can anyone tell where how this can be installed?
