install problems on dell optiplex with Fedora2

I am trying to install Fedora2 linux onto a Dell Optiplex computer. I downloaded the four cd's and then burned them into iso's. I have the computer set up to boot from cd, which it does. One command line shows up and then the cd sounds like it goes off and on. The line says, "isolinux version 2.08 ...."

Then the prompt just flashes.

I've loaded different versions of linux before, but it's been over a year and I've forgot quite a bit.

Thanks, Kim

Hi kiteguy101, welcome to lq. Did you run the md5sum on the iso's. This sounds like bad media, or a corrupted iso. You can read up here on the md5sum tool.

good luck.
