So currently my partition size is 20gb, and i'm runnning out of it, i need to increase it, how do i do that ? i got 2 partition, one for linux, and the other for win10
From what I've seen, people have most success by first reducing their Windows partition size through the Windows built-in partition manager, then using GParted Live or similar to increase the size of the Linux partition.
However, all depends on your topology. Can you please paste the output from:
boot windows using their partition manager, free up some from windows side, then create a new partition for it, leave it blank for letter via windows, boot Linux I use gparted, then seeings how it looks like you have only 20GB you put root and /home on the same partition. so as stated use a live Linux with gparted or other cli app that can merge that freed up space into your 20GB partition. AFTER you've formatted it to the same FileType that your Linux is in, ie ext4
