Question Ich5r Hardware Raid Support/Driver for SuSE 9.2

I got a Intel D875P m/b with 2x SATA 120 GB HDDS running raid0 on Windows XP pro and a 20gb spare maxtor with suse 9.2 pro installed.I am looking for a driver to install linux on hardware raid without formatting my Raid0 partition.Everybody told me there is no driver for the ich5r controller atm.My question is will there ever be a driver for this controller? OR will 9.3 support the controller when it is released.I had this problem for a year now, nobody can help me.The only way to raid this hdd's is in legacy mode and software raid only, but then i cant raid windows.Windows support only hardware raid.
The only options left for this stage is to replace onboard SATA controller with PCI SATA raid (Promise...).
