I want to get amsn to work, and i have to install the tcl thing (i still dont really know what that is) for a "wish" command. I thought I had installed it, but it still doesnt work. Anyone has an idea of what I should try to do next? Do I need to configure more than just run the install.sh?

Wish is the interpreter for Tcl scripts, like Bash for, uh, bash/sh shell scripts. Tk/Tcl comes in 2 tarballs/rpms: Tk-* and Tcl-*. You need to install both of them. Wrt to the tarballs and compiling from source I can't remember which had to go first, but I'd say Tk.
*Btw, if you want an (less generic) answer (faster) you should post what tarball you're using (version) and what you've done to install it, where you got stuck, what errors you got, etc etc. That'll help ppl help you more efficiently.
I would recommend Gaim for MSN anyway, it's very much more modern and featureful (imho). I think most people I know in the community use gaim, but aMsn has the google juice for some reason,.
Well, now I know that I still need the TK tarball, as I just installed the TCL. The name of it is ActiveTcl8.4.2.0-linux-Ix86.tar.gz. I have downloaded gaim (If I had only heard of it before...) and Im installing it. Thank you for your help, I will continue with Tk, I might as well have it complete...
