1) you need to download the Fedora iso file, then once downloaded, you need to do a "burn image" (or something named similar) inside your dvd/cd burning software. (do not just put the .iso file onto the disc, you need to burn it's contents onto the disc)
Then fireup the laptop with the burned disc inserted, make sure you do a "dual boot" setup. (do not delete any ntfs partitions!! already on the harddisk, instead use the free diskspace to make linux partition(s).)
Please google it up, or read on the fedora site on how to proceed in detail.

As teebones said, albeit not very clearly, download the ISO image, burn it onto a CD as an image file, boot the CD, and run the installer. The download AND instructions are located at this web site.

Yes you can use Clear Mobile Internet Service. Once you get Fedora working you will need to install a PPP network application. Then you set that up to send the right code to your wireless modem card.

Once you get Fedora running make a new subject just for connecting to Clear Mobile. We can walk you through getting it working.
