I need a widget or applet to attach to the nasa countdown clock

Hi there,

my first post, because normally I can find answers on the web, using forums.
BUT:

I need a countdown applet or widget, (not sure of the difference) on my desktop, which is attached to the NASA countdown clock on the shuttle mission site.

Is it possible to create this type of object, how, and is it difficult?

I want to sit it in the Mint panel, counting away without me having to manually access the NASA site every day.

I tried the ktimer, and gnome-timer, but they don't quite fit the bill.

Thnx in advance for any input or suggestions.

Link doesn't work

Thnx Jim,

tried that link but Firefox tells me that I need to enable java, which I have, also that plug-ins are missing.
However when I try to install the plug-ins, it fails.
Tried adding java 5.0 and 6.0 fron Mozilla, and the bin file from Sun, all to no avail.
I suppose I'll just have to keep logging in to the official nasa countdown page when I remember.

But thanks for the rapid response and help. appreciated.

Paul
