I need a Linux OS other than Ubuntu which has a repair disk or repair software

I need a Linux OS other than Ubuntu which has a repair disk or a software program that will easily repair the OS without using technical (IT) methods unfamilar to a newbie like me. I have Ubuntu but have to keep on installing it over and over.

Someone said their is no such thing. I need more opinions.

Xandros has this: http://www.xandros.com - there is an Open Circulation version (i.e. free) 3.02 OC which you should be able to download via BitTorrent http://torrent.xandros.com/allowed/x...on.zip.torrent

Other paid-for versions are also available from http://www.xandros.com - have a look and see if this will suit your needs.
