i have uninstalled vlc 2.2 version and later on am unable to reinstall vlc in ubuntu

i have uninstalled vlc 2.2 version and later on am unable to reinstall vlc in ubuntu 14.04 help

please open a terminal, and enter these two commands:

uname -srvm
sudo apt-get install vlc
then copy-paste the complete terminal output here.
please use code tags for that (see link in my signature).

Need more information than that. Why are you unable to reinstall? What did you try? What were the errors?
