I don't see my usb in virtualbox zorin
I don't see my usb in virtualbox zorin, virtual guest additions is installed.
I went to setting>storage>attributes then clicked CD icon and selected Host drive E; passthrough appears checked already but greyed out.
Also, settings> enable usb controller is checked and usb 1.1 controller is checked too, but both greyed out.The usb was inside the host before I started up. Still can't see the usb on virtualbox desktop. Thanks in advance.
I assume by USB your referencing a USB flash drive?
I assume drive E: is a DVD/CDROM drive?
A USB device is only available to one system at a time, i.e. either the host or a guest.
The reason the settings are greyed out is because the VM is currently running.
Make sure the device is unmounted (not ejected) from the host then from the guests window menu select Devices -> USB and then click the box next to the desired USB device.
The USB flash should be automatically detected and mounted.

I managed to access it, it had a generic number listed as mass storage and didn't have the brand name of the usb stick which confused me at first as there were others usb numbers above it. Thanks
