Spell out your words. And what software are you trying to install? What does it do? Chances are it's Windows software, which WILL NOT work on Linux. However, there are probably Linux alternatives.
Tell us what you're trying to accomplish, what you've done/tried, what error(s) you've got, and how the camera is attached, and we can try to help. If this is a fresh Ubuntu installation, you may want to load the latest version (12.04), which may already include drivers/software for your camera.
