How to yum install samba in CentOS 8

Hi,
I'm new with Linux, I want to learn samba and want to install it, I have tried to run:

yum install samba*

but it failed:

what OS do you have? How did you install it at all? Your yum repositories are not configured properly. Or the host mirrors.cloud.aliyuncs.com is down or just unavailable. For me it is unavailable.

You're 'new with Linux', but have been here and posting since 2015??? You're "new" after *NINE YEARS*, and asking about things like dovecot, etc.???

what should I do?

You need to post things like this in CODE tags, and did you read what you posted??? Very clearly tells you that one of your mirrors can't be reached...and gave you hints on what to do. Did you read/follow that advice?? And if you're using CentOS 8, why do you have a CentOS 7 repositories enabled?? You need to revisit what repositories you have enabled, and why....CentOS 7 isn't CentOS 8, so that needs to be corrected first.

check if you have:
- internet
- dns (/etc/resolv.conf)
- repositories config

Sounds like a franken-machine ie someone tried to update Centos 7 to Centos 8 in-place - that will NOT work.

Frankly I'd backup any important stuff, then do clean fresh install of Centos-Stream 9 or Rocky 9 or ... 9 & start from there.

Until the OP responds I would assume 8 versus 7 is just a typo. Although the OP appears to have made a bit of a mess with installing more recent versions of postgresql and not deleting the old stuff. Since Signalwire acquired Freeswitch back in 2018 that repo link might have broken for awhile now. I can not find mirrors.cloud.aliyuncs.com in the CentOS mirror list so updates entirely might have been broken for awhile and the OP should change it. However, CentOS 7 ( I assume ) support is ending in a month so it is time to migrate to something else. Alma or Rocky linux would be the successors to CentOS.
