How to setup IP under TurboLinux Server?

Hi, there

I have VMware on my pc(Windows 2000 Server, Dell Dimension 4700).

Then I installed TurboLinux Enterprise 8.0 on the VMware. But I found it's difficult for me to setup the IP correctly.

When I typed the command "ifconfig", I got the follow info:
Code:
lo Link encap:Local Loopback
                             inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
                             inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:HOST
                             UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metri
                             RX packets:84 errors:0 dropped:0 over
                             TX packets:84 errors:0 dropped:0 over
                             collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
                             RX bytes:6528 (6.3 Kb) TX bytes:6528
And in "netconifg" there're 6 Interface Types£ºEthernet¡¢Token Ring¡¢IP Tunnel¡¢ARCNet¡¢PPP¡¢PLIP.
Ethernet can not be activated£¬but IP Tunnel, and PLIP can be.
Does this mean the netcard's driver has been installed in my pc?
What I can do to fix this problem?

Best Regards,
iclinux.

Its not seeing the ethernet card which probably indicates there is no driver for it.
