How to set autoconf for IPv6 using ioctl?

I want to set IPv6 autoconf using ioctl. Is there any ioctl available? I am using linux version 2.6. I don't want to direct update /pro/sys/net/ipv6/conf/eth0/autoconf or do same using sysctl.
