How to set a Gnome theme as default for all users and future users ?

I've got my Gnome desktop set up exactly the way I want it.. it's all clean & neat looking now (Gnome 2.6, running on Slackware 10.0).

How do I make my theme settings (window decorations, applications, & icons) the default for all users, and all future users? Well, maybe not for current users... but definitely for future users (not yet created). I'm guessing this somehow involves me copying my theme configuration to some /etc/skel directory or something like that?

Any help would be appreciated..thanks!

I think I found my answer...

/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults directory?

Only problem is, where my %gconf.xml file in .gconf/apps/metacity/general has this:

<entry name="theme" mtime="1088433097" type="string">
<stringvalue>Milk-Chrome-Mcity</stringvalue>
</entry>

The gconf xml for metacity in /etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults has this:

<entry name="theme" mtime="1083950212" schema="/schemas/apps/metacity/ge
neral/theme"/>

So I assume I can just modify it to look like mine, and that will be the default for all newly created users who start gnome-session?
