how to send a message using the kannel 1.4.3

hi, i am new to using linux and am doing an application to send sms using the kannel? my problem is that i dont know where to get my url for the sendsms?in the mean time i have tried:-

the response is that authorisation is required???

how do i go about this??

hi everyone?am new to using linux. i need to send a test message from my kannel in order to establish where my application is not working?when i send a message from my application to the my mobile i dont get the message? so at the moment i need to try from the kannel gateway to see if its the kannel or application that has a problem. this is the url am using:$text=test&to=+254712897809

i am getting an error message "the connection was reset"

is it my url that has a problem or what could be the problem???
