Is on the Live CD or the install DVD not a repair option ?

You really need to supply more complete information....As a minimum, what are you able to do with the computer now? And which version of SUSE do you have?

Assuming that you have a live CD or DVD (it can be any version of Linux--not necessarily SUSE), you can re-install GRUB from there.
