Question How to remove sites once you have put them into folders

Hi I am hopping that someone here might be able to help me.

I have book marked sites which I then put into folders, so that way it would make it easier for me to find them.
The problem I have is that I can't delete the orginal bookmark.

I am using the Mozilla Web Browser (if this helps). I have just swtiched over from Windows & am use to being able to just click the old/orginal adress & then deleting it that way. Is there a way for me to delete, discard get rid off the address that I don't need anymore?

If so, could someone please let me know in very basic english (eg go to, then click on).

Thanks
