That's funny! It doesn't have the usual "Did you find this post helpful" prompt. I wonder why. However you can still add to the poster's reputation by clicking on the scales symbol on the left hand side.

Replies have "Did you find this post helpful? Yes" in the bottom right, with the word "Yes" being a link.

The first post in a thread doesn't, which is a shame.

Instead, you can mark post #9 or #10 from the same thread and person (where the actual solution is described).

Usually initial posts are just requests, questions. That's why (I guess). But I agree sometimes they are useful (especially when it is a report about some news).
