I want to install Slackware on my old computer so I went to the site to download it but i dont have a clue what files to download. PS This will be my first linux i have installed myself and I am currently on Open Suse (which I hate no offense to anyone). Also i heard you need to install LOader which i have no idea what it is. If you need any other info I can try to get it for you will trial and error
You'll need the first 3 CD ISOs (or the DVD ISO), which you then burn to CDs (no surprise there then) and then boot from CD 1. The "Loader" you're referring to probably means LILO (Linux Loader, a bootloader). During installation, you'll be asked to install it.
You can use BitTorrent to get the images, but if you look at http://slackware.com/getslack, you can find a list of mirrors (by country). Some of those will have the images, but you'll need to check.
