how to install rpcap-0.23

Hi i want to capture packets of remote host, so that i am using pcap concept in fedora 11, i have installed tclsh, libpcap, libnet and then finally load the pcap in tcl.

now i could access all pcap commands except to capture packets of remote host

"pcap open -ip <ipaddress> -id <remote host's Ethernet id>"

this command is using to create a handle for pcap
then only i find that to install rpcap will give the solution for this issue.
then i tried to install rpcap-0.23
i got the error message when i install rpcap-0.23

"[root@Bansa rpcap-0.23]# ./configure
creating cache ./config.cache
configure: error: can not find install-sh or install.sh in . ./.. ./../..
[root@Bansa rpcap-0.23]# make install
make: *** No rule to make target `install'. Stop."

this one i got when i try

please guide me my thing is right or not, is there any solution to capture remote packets, and how to install a basic softwares,

i knew that there is no .exe files in linux, for using windows it has .exe files instead of that what we call in linux

Thanks in advance
karthick

I get no errors configuring, but make fails for
several reasons. The code is from 2002, and requires
headers no more available.

The modern tool is ' wireshark ', I think.
( Google .. capture remote packets .. )

Get wireshark with your Package Manager or ..
# yum install wireshark
.....

Good luck .. .. ..
.....
