Are you trying to install a Windows driver on Linux by chance?

Can't be done.

I can't help you myself, but you have to write the name of the driver and which company designed it. Also it will help if you state the Webcam brand and mark and your linnux distro and kernel, maybe graphics card too.

Good luck!

You could try searching google: "linux drivers for webcams"

http://sourceforge.net/projects/webcam/

"We provide Linux drivers for webcams based on the popular Vision VLSI CPiA chipset,
including the Creative WebCam II."

It might include more work like modules etc, that's why I can't help you technically, but maybe you have got enough information to ask the geeks more constructively in a Hardware forum.
