Question How to install Apache Ant?

Hi,

I'm installing a portal server which requireds to have Apache ant latest version. The question is, do I need to use the "apt-get install" or "wget" to download and unpack it only?
Because when I tried the "apt-get install", it says E: Couldn't find package Apache. I'm sorry but it's my first time to install a portal server.
Thanks for any help.

type...
apt-get install ant

I don't know why is would say something about the E: drive, it sound like a windows message, are you using linux?

otherwise you can download the binary and run ant from the bin folder, as long as you have java it should work.

This probably belongs in another forum and maybe the wrong site if you're using windows.
