how to config a ip


Hi

i am using linux 13 version in my virtual machine i want know that whether it will take ip of is own or of windows, if its not how to assign a ip to linux os and how to find the terminal in a os

Basically. Your virtual machine guest will take the ip via dhcp NAT if set so in the settings (it should be the default though).
Why don't you check yourself if it does or not?

I need to know what linux ditribution you're using.

Open a console aka terminal window and type

Yep. I was going there too but he seems not to know where terminal is.
