how to check what site is running on


i am running RHEL4, what is the command to check what a particular site is running on , for example www.sony.com , i want to know :

if the site is running on iis or apache, the uptime, the admin and etc...

i use wget but it dont seem to do the job.

http://sony.com was running Apache on unknown when last queried at 19-May-2008 15:05:26 GMT
