Question How to change telnetd Login banner

how to change this banner ? thx.

And my centos 4.4's telnetd is krb5-telnet ,how to change ?

Ugh ... you shouldn;t use telnet, it's horrible insecure because it transmits passwords in plain text. Use SSH instead. If you really must continue to use telnet the banner is in /etc/issue.net (you may also need to change /etc/issue as well).

I am not sure how you'd change from keverized to non-keberized telnet. Doesn't the krb5-telnet drop back to normal telnet behavior if keberod is not configured?

Thank you for the help.

/etc/issue and /etc/issue.net is telnetd 's configure ,is not krb5-telnetd,so i don't configure the krb5-telnetd banner.

and i use telnet because is so easy .hoho,thanks a lot.

I thank i real change telnet to ssh.
