how to calculate location update cost and packet delivery cost

Hi All,

I have implemented Route Optimization for PMIPv6 in NS2. I have got the trace files for both with and without route optimization mechanism of PMIPv6. Now I want to calculate the parameters like Location Update Cost (LUC), Signaling Cost (SC), and Packet Delivery Cost (PDC) but don't know how. I will greatly appreciate if somebody helps me. With regards,
masju
