Newb question:

How do you add a new email account using sendmail or postfix? its my understanding that you just add a regular user account but is there any sendmail/postfix configuration that needs to be done?

If you use maildir style delivery, you may need to create the maildir directory structure with maildirmake

You shouldn't have to do anything - send them an email.

note: if you are using maildir for email, then you should have run maildirmake against /etc/skel as root, so every time you add a new user their Maildir is automatically created.
