How do I uninstall Drivers??

Hello all,
Im new to linux but I am learning alot, however Im at a point where I need to back up. Basically I have a wireless Dell true mobile 1150 card(Orinoco-relabled by dell) and I just installed the latest Orinoco Hermies chipset drivers version 'orinoco-0.15rc1' and I want to revert to an earlier driver version 0.13e so I can install airsnort which apparently doesnt work with the new drivers, some issue with the monitor mode. Anyway I need to know how to uninstall the drivers that i installed last night if I need to or weather I can just install the older 0.13e drivers over the new ones. Im not really sure how linux installs drivers, or where exactly the drivers are put. I only know where I unpacked then and where I ran the 'make' and the 'make install' and that was in the /usr/src/pcmcia-cs-3.2.7/ directory.
thanks
Adam

Try checking somewhere beneath /lib/modules/2.4.26 (where 2.4.26 should be replaced by your kernel version). Possibly beneath /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/net

At least, that's where I'd assume it would have gone. shred it

ok I checked out /lib/modules/2.4.21-0.13mdk/kernel/drivers/net/wireless and found the following:
airo_cs.o.gz hermes.o.gz orinoco.o.gz orinoco_plx.o.gz
airo.o.gz orinoco_cs.o.gz orinoco_pci.o.gz

Now I dont know which ones to remove. Ill give you a little more info on what i am trying to do. I have already installed the pcmcia-cs source from sourceforge and then downloaded the orinoco-0.15rc1 drivers, unpacked them in the top directory of the pcmcia source /usr/src/pcmcia-cs and that is where I did "make" and "make install". Now I am currently using the "orinoco_cs" driver as the mandrake control center shows me.
So what is confusing me is that the orinoco has a hermes chipset but the driver currently being used is orinoco_cs. So does Linux need all of those files to run the wireless card or are 6 out of those 7 just sitting there for show? Basically I dont know which one or ones to remove(delete) so i can then unpack and install the orinoco-13e drivers.
Also do I delete the orinoco-0.15/ directory in /usr/src/pcmcia-cs ?

thanks
Adam
