all mail are in /var/spool/mail

AFAIK mail, mailx, mutt and pine are mail clients and you need an SMTP mail server like sendmail or postfix (there are others) to connect with Gmail and upload the messages.

mailx, Pine/Alpine and I'd assume Mutt can use an external SMTP server, too.

I don't really understand the OPs question. modpriest, can you explain exactly what you want to do please?
