Hi, welcome to LQ!

Are you asking us how to fix your switch, or how to
not have the problem showing in nagios?

Cheers,
Tink

I think my switch is working fine. But i'm unable to trap the port 1 status. I think the problem is in "check_command check_snmp!-C public -o ifOperStatus.1 -r 1 -m RFC1213-MIB". Also i've checked snmpwalk -v1 -c ........ -m ALL.1 & got the port 1 MIB -- [iso.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.1 = STRING: "GigabitEthernet1/1"]. Then i started with "check_command check_snmp!-C public -o 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.2.1 -r 1 -m RFC1213-MIB". Then also it is SNMP CRITICAL - "down(2)".......pls. help
