Question How change the kernel version?


I want to change my kernel to an older version
my current kernel is ( 2.6.35-24 generic i686 GNU/Linux)
I want kernel 2.6.21 or 2.6.31 how can I do it?

I think you're making a mistake here, "generic i686" isn't the kernel-version but the architecture.

If you want to find out your kernel-version, try the command uname with option -r
