How can i set up as XP as start boot?


When i start up it gives me a choice of linux, linux-fb, failsafe, windows. it gives me 7 secounds to choose. if not chossen it gose to linux. how do i change it so it boots into XP instead?

that sounds like a lilo boot menu list as opposed to grub, so edit /etc/lilo.conf and change the default= option. then run "lilo" to update your boot sector.
