How can I create a keyboard script for konsole?

simple task:

I want to create a script so that I can press a given keyboard combination and activate the Konsole terminal.

for example, I would like to be able to press ctrl+t and have it bring up the console. thats just an example, obviously, but you get the idea.

I searched a few strings but couldnt find anything, thread suggestions are welcome.

I don't think you need a special script for that.

Just go to Menu Editor, find Konsole there and set up a shortcut key.

You are using KDE, right?

Menu Editor should be somewhere in the main menu.
I mean the big 'K' button in the lower left corner of the screen.
I have it under K->Settings->Menu Editor

Or right-click that "K" button and select menu editor.

Or run kmenuedit from the command line.
