hotswap between eGPU and motherboard display

I wanted to install Nvidia drivers for my GPU and followed these instructions:
https://docs.kinetica.com/7.1/install/nvidia_deb/
Ie. Disable nouveau, edit configs etc.

Now sometimes I don't want to use Nvidia GPU and switch my monitor to using the motherboard HDMI.
Upon reboot I get fatal error, failed to start lightdm.

How do I revert my Nvidia driver changes I made?

Installing NVidia's proprietary drivers is a rather intrusive process. Not all NVidia package versions produce the same intrusions, or have the same requirements. It may not be possible to do as you seem to describe. Your distro may include software that includes the string "prime" in its name. It may be possible that this or something similar by another name can enable switching between NVidia and onboard GPUs. If not, complete uninstallation of NVidia drivers may be required.
