Question Helpful Resources for Best Practices

I am an experienced HPUX admin but we are implementing our first Redhat Linux 4.4 servers. I've been poking around on Best Practices, Performance Tuning, etc... (the stuff I look for on HPUX) and coming up empty. We're trying to figure out what kernel modules and packages "should" be installed, what kernel parameters to adjust etc.... Anyone have any recommendations for resources and or opinions on Best Practices?

Thanks!

There are "best practices" articles for pretty much anything you want to do... but you usually have to specify what it is exactly: "best practices RHEL" won't do it.
