help with rpm

Hi,

I just installed centOS a few days ago, so I'm brand spanking new.

My question is about updating. The update I am being shown is for firefox. I'm not sure how the updating works on linux. Maybe someone would be kind enough to explain. Should I download the rpm? Or will it automatically update when downloaded? After installing correctly (which hopefully someone will explain), is there any cleanup that should be done?

Thanks.

If you set up yum, you can just run "yum update" and updated RPMs will be downloaded and installed for you. If you Google on yum there's a lot of info out there about how to use it.
