Help with a modem internet connection
I just installed Fedore Core 2 as a dual boot w/ Windows XP Home, with Fedore as the main OS. I configured most of it, and havn't had any problems besides this really high pitched whine from the comp itself, but when I went to configure the modem connection for my dial-up connection and got all the info (password, username, IP phone number, whatnot) It wouldn't connect. I reentered everything twice, then decided to ask for some help, so, HELP!
BTW, incase you need to know, I have about 35 gb partitioned for Fedora, and a 2.1 gb swap file atm. I didn't know what to set for the swap, but that seemed like it should be enough. Any tips about that owuld be appreciated, as well
