help needed to instal program (complete newbie)

Heya all, i just installed mandrake 8.2, this is the first time im using linux and i'm
willing to convert but im sorta having trouble installing programs that arent RPMs.

one in particular XSatellite, a GUI for AGSatellite, i extracted the tar file and im left with a dir that looks something like this:

CHANGES
COPYING
Install
Satellite
wav
config
gif
README
tcl
xsatellite.tcl

ive tryed typing install in the console but i get an error prompt saying:
install: too few arguments

if anyone could help me it would be much apreeciated

thank you

Ok, out of curiousity I downloaded the program, even though I don't use AGSatelitte, after decompressing the archive, I typed ./install and it presented me with interactive command line setup, the first questions was where do I want to set it up with default dir /usr/local/xsat. BTW I got xsat0.21.
