Question help!


How do you get rid of bootloader that comes up each time
I start my computer. I have Mandrake 8.2. I took
linux off for now and I want to get rid of the (MBR) bootloader.

I'm assuming you are running Windows.
IF AND ONLY IF you no longer need the boot loader to get into linux and you have LILO as the boot loader AND it was installed as the MBR you can do the following: (Keep a boot disk handy just encase something goes awry)
In DOS, type:
SYS c:
or you can try
FDISK /MBR

Just type SYS c: and it will go away.

Like C:\SYS c:
